Apply Online for an Internship or CPT
All Nobel University internships — for domestic and F-1 students alike — must be approved through the online portal before you begin work.
Please review the eligibility, required documents, and instructions below before submitting.
An internship is required as part of every Nobel University degree program. For F-1 students, the same application also requests Curricular Practical Training (CPT); the school authorizes CPT in SEVIS and issues a new I-20 reflecting your CPT before you may begin work.
Who applies
Domestic students — every paid or unpaid internship requires approval by the Office of Student Services and the Chief Academic Officer.
F-1 students — same application, plus Section B for CPT authorization in SEVIS.

Rules the portal will enforce
- Start date must be on or within 30 days after the semester start.
- End date must be no later than 11 months after the start date, and not past your program end date on your I-20.
- Application deadline: always two weeks prior to the semester start date.
- Program internship requirement: every degree program requires successful completion of an internship program. The specific course is listed in the current Student Catalog.
What happens after you apply
- The Office of Student Services reviews your application, and the Chief Academic Officer decides.
- Domestic students will receive an approval email confirming the start date and required internship course.
- F-1 students — the PDSO authorizes CPT in SEVIS and issues a new I-20. You will be notified by email when the new I-20 is ready for pick-up at the Office of Student Services.
Important — F-1 students: Do not begin work until the new I-20 with CPT is physically in your hand. Working before that date is unauthorized employment under F-1 status.
Fees
The initial CPT authorization and any subsequent extension are subject to processing fees set by the school. Current fee amounts are listed in the Nobel University Student Catalog (Los Angeles / Buena Park) and Enrollment Agreement.
