MISSION

Advancing disciplinary learning through a Christian perspective

The mission of Nobel University is to advance disciplinary learning through a Christian perspective that cultivates critical thinking, effective communication, and global engagement.

Institutional Objectives (IOs): Graduates of Nobel University will be able to:

  1. Demonstrate disciplinary knowledge and method appropriate to their field and degree level.
  2. Think critically about evidence, assumptions, and alternatives.
  3. Engage global and multicultural contexts in disciplinary work.
  4. Communicate effectively in written and oral forms.
  5. Exercise ethical reasoning informed by Christian principles.

BBA PLOs: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

  1. Apply foundational business concepts and analytical tools to solve well-defined problems in core functional areas.
  2. Analyze evidence, assumptions, and alternatives to reach reasoned conclusions about defined disciplinary problems.
  3. Analyze how global and multicultural contexts shape disciplinary issues and practices.
  4. Communicate ideas clearly and professionally in written and oral forms appropriate to a specified professional audience.
  5. Apply ethical reasoning informed by Christian principles to identify and respond to ethical issues in disciplinary practice.

BS in Cybersecurity PLOs: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

  1. Apply foundational cybersecurity concepts and technical methods to protect information systems against known threats.
  2. Analyze evidence, assumptions, and alternatives to reach reasoned conclusions about defined disciplinary problems.
  3. Analyze how global and multicultural contexts shape disciplinary issues and practices.
  4. Communicate ideas clearly and professionally in written and oral forms appropriate to a specified professional audience.
  5. Apply ethical reasoning informed by Christian principles to identify and respond to ethical issues in disciplinary practice.

MBA PLOs: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

  1. Integrate advanced knowledge across business functions to develop and justify solutions to complex, ambiguous managerial problems.
  2. Evaluate competing evidence, assumptions, and alternatives to defend reasoned judgments under conditions of uncertainty.
  3. Evaluate the implications of global and multicultural contexts for organizational strategy and decision making.
  4. Communicate evidence-based analyses and recommendations persuasively in written and oral forms adapted to diverse stakeholder audiences.
  5. Evaluate competing ethical obligations through ethical reasoning informed by Christian principles to justify decisions affecting multiple stakeholders.

MS in Cybersecurity PLOs: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

  1. Integrate advanced cybersecurity knowledge and technical methods to design and justify enterprise-level responses to complex, evolving security risks.
  2. Evaluate competing evidence, assumptions, and alternatives to defend reasoned judgments under conditions of uncertainty.
  3. Evaluate the implications of global and multicultural contexts for organizational strategy and decision making.
  4. Communicate evidence-based analyses and recommendations persuasively in written and oral forms adapted to diverse stakeholder audiences.
  5. Evaluate competing ethical obligations through ethical reasoning informed by Christian principles to justify decisions affecting multiple stakeholders.

DBA PLOs: Upon completion of this program, students will be able to:

  1. Produce original, theory-grounded research that addresses unresolved problems in business practice and scholarship.
  2. Critique existing evidence, theory, and method to construct original arguments that withstand scholarly scrutiny.
  3. Situate original research within global and cross-cultural scholarship and evaluate its implications for diverse stakeholders.
  4. Communicate original research in written and oral forms that meet scholarly standards for peer and professional dissemination.
  5. Defend ethical positions, informed by Christian principles, that govern the conduct of research and the exercise of organizational leadership.
